The Taitanium Lunch

This lunch will be held this year on Sunday the 22nd of March, being day one of the Premiers last round robin two day game vs University.

This year we are using the lunch to celebrate the achievements of current and past players who have played one hundred premier games. The club will be writing to the recipients inviting them to the function. The quest speaker will be Andy Leslie (Former All Black Captain)

Cost $70 for existing members or $90 for new members including a shirt

Membership of the Taitanium club will guarantee you free entry to the lunch

If you wish to pay for the lunch the cost is $35.00 but you will need to be in quick

Prize Giving

This years prize giving will be held at the club rooms on Saturday the 11th of April starting at 7pm, the cost will be $10 a head and include finger food. More details will come out over the next couple of weeks.

Last Saturday of the season

It is traditional that on the last playing day all club members return to the club to celebrate their successes over the season, this year is no exception so the committee would like to encourage all players to make a night of it at the club on the 28th of March 

Cricket Update

Taita welcomes back a legend to the fold, Eddie Binns has returned to NZ and will turn out for the Legends on Fraser 6A on Saturday. Welcome back Eddie

We are now at the sharp end of the season, with only three playing Saturdays to go.

The Premiers go into the second day v Easts on top of the table, one point ahead of Easts and 7.5 points ahead of Onslow in third place. 

We are slightly behind the eight ball going in to day two in a rained effected day one we ended the day at 25/3. A big day with the bat on Saturday together with first innings points against University in the final game should see us playing in the final over Easter. If you are free on Saturday head down to Kilbirnie to support your team

The TDCC Legends are in line to make the T20 final and have a big game vs Wainui Brownie this Saturday, watch for key performances from two Taita Legends Eddie Binns and Matt Lewer.
