Senior Mens Cricket
Taita Cricket is one Wellington leading cricket clubs and has a long and proud history playing Senior Mens cricket in Wellington since 1934. We are based at Fraser Park, Taita.
Taita’s Senior Men’s program caters to all players seeking competitive cricket and strong camaraderie. Our club focuses on high-level skill enhancement and match preparedness. There is a team for everyone, from our Premier Mens, Premier 2nd Xi, Senior 3rd xi & 4th xi, to our more relaxed Intercity Division One Day and T20 teams.
Team Training & Coaching
Senior Men’s trainings are held at Fraser Park, Taita. Player lead and supported by team coaches, training sessions focus on advanced techniques, tactical training and physical conditioning.
Premiers are held Wednesday evenings 530pm to 8pm
Premier 2nds Thursday evenings 6pm to 8pm
Club night Senior (3rd & 4th XI) Lower Grades Tuesday evenings 6pm to 8pm (All players welcome)

Premier Mens 1st XI
The Taita District Cricket Club Premier Men competes in Cricket Wellington’s Premier 1 T20 , 50 over one day and two-day competitions.
The premier team has a proud history winning a number of Premier mens competitions including the prestigious premier Pearce Cup in 2022/23

Premier 2nd XI
Taita District Cricket Club’s Premier Reserve team competes in Cricket Wellington’s Premier Reserve 1 grade.
The team play competitive, high-standard cricket that pushes for top-four finishes while serving as a high-performance stepping stone and development bridge to the clubs Premier team, anchored by strong teamwork, high attendance, and the spirit of the game.

Senior 3rd XI & 4th XI
Our Senior 3rd XI plays in the Senior Division 1/2 grades. These are our club pathway squads, consisting a balance of senior and new players joining the club looking to play in higher grade teams.
