Taita District Cricket Club Youth programme links college cricketers with our club to bridge the gap between college and club cricket.

The club compete in Cricket Wellington youth tournaments and Sunday T20fixtures against local colleges, providing game time, coaching and development opportunities. For further information or to join click on the infomation email button

Youth Under 19s (Year 11 to Year 13)

Our Under 19s Youth team provides a wonderful opportunity to take park in the Cricket Wellington Club your program playing in against other cub U19 youth teams on Sunday T20 Fixtures and the January T20 three day tournament

Youth Under 15s (Year 9 & Year 10) coming 2027

The Under 15s Youth team bridging the gap from leaving junior cricket and heading to college.


Based on past years:

  • Opportunity to play 3-4 Sunday T20 games during Summer against other clubs

  • Take part in the U15 and U17 Club Cricket Wellington 3-day T20 tournament - up to 6 games during Jan holiday

  • Development Preseason program - An TDCC Cricket initiative that provides an opportunity to take part 6-8 week program for further development activities with qualified coaches.

  • Opportunity to play cricket with the club during the summer holiday Dec/Jan
